Fi Boyle

Fi Boyle trained at the Central School of Art & Design, where she graduated with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. Since then she has worked for a variety of companies in the fields of design, illustration, marketing and operations.

Her passion for plants and garden design led her to take a diploma at The Garden Design School at Painshill Park where she gained her garden designer credentials.

Fi now runs her own Garden Design business based at Stourhead in Wiltshire, on the borders of Dorset and Somerset.

She is Planting Consultant for Robin Williams and Associates enabling her to work with both existing and new clients – reviewing and developing their planting, and advising on horticultural and maintenance matters in clients' own gardens.

Fi has a specific commitment to designing gardens for those affected by traumatic brain injury. An exciting new design for a garden, in collaboration with Combat Stress, has been accepted by the RHS for The Royal Hampton Court Flower Show this year. It will help to raise awareness of the wonderful work that this charity does for service personnel suffering from mental trauma, suffered as a result of service and combat operations in dangerous environments. After the show, the garden will be dismantled and taken to Combat Stress's facilities in Leatherhead. It will then be re-built for the servicemen and women who are in acute need of the calming and therapeutic help that this garden will give them.
